The chatroom is embedded into the Forum community. No use having a seaparate thread about it.
Although something like a sticky announcing we have one would be nice.

What the heck?! Makes sense if the room was empty, for the person who enters an empty, unregistered channel is set as the operator of the channel by default. If, on the other hand, the channel is registered and the entering user is not listed as a channel operator, what you just described above happens.

Ok, I think I got most of it.
Now, when you get into the server and/or chatroom, you type /msg nickser identify (password) with replacing (password with the password for your nick (which we DID tell you). After that, you type /msg nickserv help and check around the help files to learn how to change the pass.
