2) That's not an important factor on botmaking. As I said, the operators have the decision for the bot.

2) Your "After all, ..." made it look like you thought making a bot or coming up with the idea of making one would make you less annoying.

Seriously, though, I think so long as anyone has the skills to make a bot, they should go ahead and do it. Excessive spamming, of course, should never be tolerated, and this applies to bots as well.

Here's a suggestion:
Make a new channel for the purpose of testing out bots and discuss their developement.
This would lessen the frustration of those who do not wish to see boring talk about bot-makeage or witness overall spammage that ensues when people are test the bots.
