when they spawn i want to follow me

You need to change parameters 2 and 3 to make the creatures spawn on the players side and have the follow tactic. Setting parameter 2 to '0' should set them up to be on the default player side (though you'd change this if the player side is something different). It is probably best to set the second and third parameters to '-1' so the AI tactics remain at the creature default (set the creature's default AI to a follow tactic, which is 5 or 2 in default).
