I'm not thinking with Portals, but I'd like to.

It's almost coming, folks!

Ew.

Also, it would seem that the person that made the macrocats thingy appeared on IRC.

Coincidence?

Portal stuff. To be fair, I thought about doing this too, but I probably couldn't get it working as well as this.

And I finished it. Fun stuff, this stuff. I hope the 3D one is as good.

That is a very interesting little flash. I played through ~30 something levels before I stopped. Fun, to be sure. Can't wait for the 3D version to arrive.

Yeah, the only thing that really made me stop playing was the fact that I was supposed to be at work.

Okay. Portal is really, really good. It's a bit slow at the start (because they have to get the learning curve right for everyone - it's a totally different game) but it's a fun little puzzler, and the ending is lovely. It finishes quickly, but after that there's the challenges, and believe me, those are *hard*.

Now, Ep2.

[edit]Slightly spoilerish, but those who finished the game will love this: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/ar ... 6&site=pcg

Bought Orange Box two days ago, and I have finished both Portal and Ep2. Both games are awsome games.

Just wanted to say that Portal and Ep2 have much in common in terms of storyline than you might think.

Got Orange Box in mail. Parents decided I haven't been doing enough schoolwork. Orange Box taken away before I even got it open.

Goddamn parents.

XD Go do them works, then.
Back to Portal, what is the funniest thing to do with the ASHPD? Discuss.

Ingame or not?

I mean, ingame, it creates portals on walls, woohoo. But in real life... Well, it'll still create portals on walls, but there's a few more interesting walls to try it on, I suppose.

Sounds like your parental units are malfunctioning. You better get them fixed.

I finished Portal in ~4 hours (all the chambers).
Haven't completed all the advanced mabs yet thought.

I hope you meant the post-escape levels too by that (all the chambers).

Won't take you much longer than 4 hours indeed. Steam reports 4.7 hours of Portal play for me, and I've been doing a couple of advanced maps and the start with developer commentary (which is interesting, if you're into game design). So I suppose somewhere around 3.5 or 4 hours for the main game.
