    There seems to be a new version of the forum available. I'll try to update to it, and we'll see whether it helps or not.

    Some avatars seem to have disappeared... I think only the ones that are from the gallery survived the update.

    For a few days now, some graphics are missing: the buttons for post reply, quote, start new thread, and perhaps a few others. I'm using the subsilver2 style according to the UCP.

    Sorry for the double post, but I want to check it against the two alternating background colors.

    The color was made by taking the average of all 4 (2 themes, 2 alternating backgrounds) blueish background colors in RGB space. Note that it won't survive being quoted.

    If someone who knows more about color models can propose a better alternative, feel free to.

    [EDIT] Seems to stand out against the lightest and darkest backgrounds. And seems like what is a light background for one theme is a dark background for another. Damn.

    I'd say that the color is a success, because all it really needs to do is prevent people from reading it from the corners of their eyes.

    Indeed. Also, we'd just need one colour if we put it on a quote, right?

    Well. subsilver2 uses #FAFAFA as background, prosilver uses #EBEADD. Pretty different colors.

    The color to use for quotes would be something like
