    I'm still in vacation. Yay.

    Ends on monday though. And I still don't know what subjects I'll take, but just mentioning them will probably make your head dazzle, so whatever.

    school sucks. i'm about to get started on my homework right now. when i'm president of the universe, i'm going to illegalize school and all those affiliated with any sort of academic activity or jack thompson. on second thought, i think i'll just shoot jack.

    Got my subjects mostly sorted out. A selection of the more interesting ones.

    *Algebra 2 (homological algebra, noetherian rings, stuff like that - you've never heard of it, you probably never will)
    *Fluid dynamics
    *Declarative languages (Prolog, Haskell)
    *Automata & computability (FSA, Turing machines, Chomsky hierarchy, quantum computing, ...)
    *Genetic algorithms
    *Computer networks (Software side - different layers)
    *Data mining

    And a few more that are mostly about doing projects with groups of students.

    Nice subjects you have there, Amarth.
    What do I get in my year of school!? These!:

    - Portuguese
    - Maths
    - Philosophy
    - English
    - Physics and Chemistry (2 in 1 = Damn! I don't need the freaking Chemics!)
    - Physical Education (Phails)
    - Informatics Applications (Messing with Multimedia 'n' stuff with Computers)

    And things won't be so different next year.

    You do need the chemics, since they're quite a vital part to science. Also, you can actually ask quite difficult questions about the subject.

    Me and my friends were talking about SC II the other day and we couldn't figure out why this was that.

    After a while the topic was revealed and apparently we were talking about about StarCraft II and Soul Caliber II. It was followed by a hilarious debate on what the eff were you guys saying before.

    Note to self, do not use acronyms.

    Though i'm curious as to how they will enforce this. I can't quite imagine the headmaster running around with a razor going "HEY! YOU! WITH THE BEARD! DON'T MOVE!".

    Love: Maths (I'm the only one in my class who actually has an idea what's going on...), Informatics (it's obvious that our teacher never heard of things like "Byte", "RAM" or "Linux"), Physics, English (especially since it's not my main language).
    Hate: History (one more date to remember and I'll explode), Geography (where was that weird named isle again?)
    Other stuff: Polish, German (too easy for me, I'm a German in Poland, you know.) and so on. Lots of useless stuff I'll never use after I leave school.
    Note: We have the same teacher for physics and geography, lol.

    Got to do homework. Hate that. Really.

    I seem to be missing a lot of subtext here... Anyways, back on topic. School!

    I'm doing a project about CP-Logic, presentation in about 2 weeks. It's an advanced AI system, featuring probabilistic logic learning combined with causation logic. Not really sure how it all works right now, but it looks fun.
