Maybe the channel was +m at that moment or something. I doubt it, but it gives me a chance to blame it on the ops, so...
There's a small line at the lower end of the screen where your text goes, usually, though.

Alternatively, you can try restarting the bugger.

At least mIRC works on messageing... but sometimes it disconnects on it's own

I'm not sure when my "busy time" is, but I seem to connect while there are several idlers that can't notice me because of whatever else they're doing.

Whenever I am idle, you can pm me something to draw my attention. My computer will keep beeping until I check it, so I'll usually check back there if I am on the computer. If not, then I for some reason have my sound disabled oo am away.

If you're using Opera, you already have an IRC client built-in to the browser.
If you are using some other browser, or prefer not to use extensions/plugins, get an external IRC client (if there are no such plugins for the browser of your choice).

I think the Monkkonen Chatroom should evolve into something more profissional. We coulds use a chatroom bot and, of course, making an official rule list.(Grim's being chato)
