Okay, Titan Quest is weird (I had a copy, but never really played it - now, after seeing it on Steam I tried it). Archery is the most multimassively-AoE-superdestruction-whatever-attack of doom ever. The more enemies are in one place, the higher the chance that all will die from one freakin' attack. Because every single arrow deals splash damage (ie. damages enemies around the main target) and pierces through all enemies it encounters (thus being able to hit more than one as main target, splashing multiple times). Additionally there's a 16% chance to fire three arrows at once. And a 16% chance to deal some massive damage over time. That's absolutely ridiculous. I guess that was a try to make an archer's life easier when it comes to fighting huge mobs (which are encountered frequently)... but that's too much power. Except that, it's awesome. Well, there's one thing. Why are spears considered ranged weapons? I'll try a mage next. I guess that won't be so easy.
